Why people call us instead of waiting
Curbside yard waste programs are great when the timing works, but fall is the busiest stretch of the year. Bags pile up faster than a weekly cart can handle, and paper bags left out through a few rainy October days get soggy and tear. Wet leaves also get heavy fast, which makes hauling them yourself a real chore.

A little prep makes pickup quick and keeps your yard looking good:
- Use brown paper yard bags. They're sturdy, compost-friendly and easy to stack. Fold the top over instead of taping it.
- Don't overfill. A bag stuffed past the top tears when it's lifted. Leave a few inches.
- Bag them dry when you can. Rake after a couple of dry afternoons. Dry leaves are lighter and the bags hold up better.

- Stack in one spot. One neat row near the driveway makes for a fast stop.
