What Grading Fixes
- Low spots where water pools after rain or irrigation
- Ground that slopes toward the house instead of away from it
- Bumpy, rutted or uneven yards that are hard to mow or use
- Areas being prepped for sod, turf, gravel, a shed or a patio
How We Grade
We grade with our skid steer, moving and smoothing soil so the surface is even and slopes where it should. If the job needs more material, we can bring in fill dirt, gravel or topsoil and spread it. If there is extra dirt, we haul it off. We call 811 before we dig, so buried utility lines are marked before any digging starts. We focus on small jobs, with no minimum job size, using our skid steer and small excavator. We do not do concrete work.

Yard & Lot Grading Questions
Can grading help with drainage?
Yes. Grading the ground so it slopes away from the house is often the first step in fixing drainage. For water that still needs somewhere to go, a French drain can help.
Do you bring in dirt or topsoil?
Yes. We can bring in fill dirt, gravel or topsoil and grade it in with our skid steer.
Do you do concrete work?
No. We do not do concrete work. We can grade and prep the ground, and haul off dirt and debris.
