Small Excavation and Skid Steer Work for Treasure Valley Properties

Some projects are too big for a shovel and too small to bring in a large excavation company. A yard that needs leveling, a trench for irrigation, a soggy spot that needs a French drain, an old stump in the way, a pile of dirt and rock that has to go. Evergreen Junk Solutions handles that kind of work with a skid steer and a small excavator.

We focus on smaller residential and light-commercial jobs in Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell and the rest of the Treasure Valley, and no job is too small. We're a veteran-owned, licensed and insured general contractor based in Nampa, and the same crew that runs the equipment can clear the site and haul the debris away.

What We Do With a Skid Steer and Small Excavator

Common small excavation and skid steer jobs include:

  • Land grading and leveling: smoothing out uneven ground, filling low spots and getting an area ready for your next project
  • Trenching: trenches for irrigation, drainage and utility lines
  • French drains: drainage trenches dug and installed to move water away from problem areas
  • Stump removal: old stumps dug out and hauled away
  • Small digs: dirt work and digging that's too much to do by hand
  • Site and yard clearing: brush, overgrowth, old landscaping and debris cleared from lots, yards and fence lines
  • Dirt, rock and debris removal: loaded with the skid steer and hauled off
  • Fill, gravel and topsoil: brought in and spread where you need it

We don't take on large-scale excavation like big site development, basements or mass excavation.

Trenching for Irrigation, Drainage and Utility Lines

Need a line run across the yard? We dig trenches for irrigation, drainage and utility lines, with the small excavator doing the digging and the crew handling cleanup. Tell us where the trench starts and ends and what it's for, and we'll plan the job around it.

French Drains and Stump Removal

Water that pools along a foundation, fence line or low corner of the yard is a common problem around the valley. We dig and install French drains to carry that water away.

Stumps left behind after a tree comes down get in the way of mowing, landscaping and new projects. We dig them out with our equipment and haul them off, so the spot is ready for whatever comes next.

We Call 811 Before We Dig

Before any digging starts, we call 811 to have underground utility lines located and marked. It's one less thing for you to deal with, and it protects your property and the crew.

811 only marks public utility lines, so if you have a septic system, sprinkler lines or other private lines on the property, just point them out when you book.

Grading, Clearing, Fill and Haul-Off

Plenty of Treasure Valley properties need a little dirt work. New homes in Meridian, Star and Kuna can be left with uneven yards and leftover fill. Older lots in Boise, Nampa and Caldwell collect rock, debris and overgrowth over the years. We grade and level the ground, clear what needs to go, and haul off the extra dirt and rock.

Need material instead? We bring in fill, gravel and topsoil and spread it where you want it.
